Apparently only steam version has the Day 1 patch….
Is it too hard to update both at the same time?

Patches on gog always seem to lag. I hear different stories why. Some say it is because gog has to approve the patch; other indicate it is easy to push updates to steam but a PIA for gog. I never released a game so I have no clue how (or if) the process differs between the two but maybe someone here has info to share.

What happened to the good old days when you could simply go and download a patch yourself? Yes I bought it on gog. There is a thread about it on the Elex forum on gog with no official response and one thing they could do is at least communicate with people.

You sure about this? Game version 1.0 has the patch integrated. Is GOG version lower?

I bought it on GOG, too. I remembered that they lag on the patch front, but then again if the price is similar, I prefer to support them. Such is life.
