Not sure how I feel about him adding new quests, etc. I'd like to just see a remaster that doesn't add any non-PB developed content.

I'll definitely give it a look if/when it is finished. But I'll also believe it when I receive it.

He shouldn't call it a remaster though as it will feature fan-made content and Russian VO which won't be optional.

Assuming PB is ok with this, I'll most likely give it a try when it is completed. Revisiting such a great game is never a hardship!

They should probably check the Gothic 2 game license, but I suspect that as long as it requires installation of the original game and the mod doesn't require payment, it's probably okay.

A Gothic 1 remaster? Done using AAA standards, with all the bells and whistles of today's technology in terms of graphics, interface advancements, and so on? Oh hell yea! I would kick-start that or buy that in a second! Loved the first Gothic.

Mod is being financed by Putin and will feature TRUMP Tower instead of Xardas' tower.

2.0. This mod isn't brand new. I'm also pretty certain it requires the original game (including the expansion?). Anyway, there's a topic on this in the PB forums.

I think that's getting really paranoid. If you're going to go after the gamer community, you don't do it by sinking hundreds of hours modding a 15 year old game. You put maybe a few days into making a nude mod for PUBG or Overwatch - or even just a few hours photoshopping a screenshot to get people to download what they think is a nude mod.
