Indie = no hairworks.
Inspired by consoles "gameplay" garbage = QTEfest.
25 bucks.
Dunno. If someone confirms there is an interesting story in it and if it's not checkpoints based, at that price I might still budge. Won't try the demo.

The video didn't really show gameplay. Not sure this is something that will be enjoyable.

For gameplay you can watch this video:
I don't care for the QTE actions for attacks, but I can live with that (similar to games like the Shadow Heart series). As long as landing in the critical zone is not required to win the game I'm ok.

Before you get excited on sell-words "turn based" and "tactical Fart-Ware"
look at this boring abomination of Gameplay:

Again, another one I'll likely be waiting to hear feedback on. Got enough games from the holidays to keep me busy for a while.

Many people find the eastern games absurdly difficult to play, least that's what I hear from some of the gamers that I know. I enjoy games with good stories, don't really care much about anything else except the combat, and I can say that when I'm firing up an eastern rpg, I straight up off the bat expect it to be way more difficult than, say, something from Bethesda or Obsidian.
