Default Monster Hunter: World - Coral Highlands Gameplay

- Grandia 2 for the music (unless you can find it's soundtrack separately)
- All Legend of Heroes games (DO NOT buy DLC) for the story and characters, don't buy Tits2 (aka SC: it's lazyarsed job with same mobs and same world map)
- Cosmic Star Heroine if nostalgia kicked you and you need something of old style yet good
- Regalia because it's not classic grind2win, it's a challenging gem of a game

Others… I have to suggest skip 'em. Especially the one I backed on KS, Earthlock. It's boring mushroombased checkpointrubbish grinder.

I haven't looked at this new one that closely, but I know there is reference to some kind of new continent, so if that means completely new monsters with no repeats, that would be a big draw for me.
No. It is a MH game, it renews gameplay with various elements (like verticality) and stuff. It remains MH though, classical monsters, classical weapons.

This one is oriented toward the western market.

For what difference it makes, the fights are much less punishing then in Dark Souls. In Dark Souls boss fights one little mistake could kill you. Here they are 10 minute long battles of endurance where you don't die to one failed move but to the combined total of several mistakes slowly draining your resources.

I might check it out. I'm sort of looking for a reason I bought my Xbox One X - and I haven't really found it yet

I made the mistake of searching one anime jrpg in steam 2 years ago. They assumed that forevermore I want HunnieBuns and visual novels in my recommended section….

How about all games have a single huge lootbox you pay for up front that contains all the options, items, skins, unlocks etc? I'd pay for that!!
