If I had a nickel for every announcement trailer for Skyrim I would still be poor but I could get a fancy meal somewhere at least.

Looks well thought out and incremental releases is smart considering the scope of it. Hopefully this project will materialize

Man, to me this game was barely average, but years later and it still seems to somehow be in the news.

But I do understand the lure of modding and replaying.

How about all games have a single huge lootbox you pay for up front that contains all the options, items, skins, unlocks etc? I'd pay for that!!

It's an impressive display of their modelling skills, which is probably the main point. I'd be astonished if this gets completed and actually filled with content.

I can't bear to play Skyrim or mods/expansions of Skyrim anymore. I played way too much, and now have an almost visceral dislike for the Skyrim "look and feel" (many mods just re-use assets, which makes it worse). Here they have some new models, but to me it still screams Skyrim

Typical negativity around here. Lots of people still enjoy Skyrim and think it’s a great game. When did this site turn into whiney bitchville anyway

My comment is about the general negativity around here - not Skyrim specifically. Devs read this stuff. The mod team probably saw it. Look at the Black Geyser thread and the sad pile on the Dev. I’d rather they post here but they have got to be nuts to do it.

Saying that, I find these huge mods expansion totally pointless, they never get finished. Even Tamriel Rebuild is still a work-in-progress, although it is quite remarkable that these people have been working on it for 15+ years.

Having said that some mods like this do get finished and I give the modders credit for that. Just look at New Vegas as two huge mods are nearing completion.

Yeah, god forbid anyone criticize a game that you like, right?

Ah, yes - I remember the good old days. That golden time when people kept their criticisms and complaints to themselves, and commoners and developers alike basked in the glow of smiling benevolence

Well, as they say, one man's breeze is another man's draught.
On the whole, I don't think we're too bad. There's a handful of people that always spam the same noise about the same things, and that gets a little bit grating, but on the whole I think there's a balance of reasonable positivity and negativity.
