From the website:
Let’s take a step back for a moment. A lot of you have been wondering where exactly Fallout: Miami takes place and what the ingame map will include. We’re going to answer that question today. Here are the borders of the Fallout: Miami game world, a loving recreation of a lovely part of southern Miami Beach. In order to fit all of the interesting locations we have planned, we’ve taken a few creative liberties, but our map remains mostly accurate to the real world area we want to represent.
The city is divided into several districts, each with its own unique locations and atmosphere. Starting from the top:
- Meridian: On the outskirts you’ll find Meridian, an industrial zone that hosts the well-known Pop & Chill bottling plant, among other factories, and the homes of Miami’s working class.
- Atlantic: Just over the river is Atlantic, a district of two parts. Along the coast are some of the most opulent resort hotels, including the world-famous Sunshine Hotel & Casino, while the central area is mostly residential.
- Maimon: Home to the university campus and hospital.
- Bayshore: Luxury housing and luxury leisure, mansions are a common sight in Bayshore and the Cuban golf course is an ever popular destination for fat cats both native and visiting.
- Sheridan: Similarly to Atlantic, the coastline is dedicated to tourism. On the west side of the river are many suburb-like neighbourhoods, as well as Miami Beach Sheridan High School, which borders Bayshore’s vast golf course.
- Downtown: The beating heart of Miami. Business, shopping, bars, restaurants, theaters, Downtown has it all, including civic buildings such as City Hall and the Miami Beach Convention Center.
- Flamingo: A patchwork of retirement communities, entertainment and luxury, Flamingo is Miami, just calmer. Locations range from Miami’s largest yacht club to the Flamingo Trailer Park.

I have a small gripe and I present it here cautiously because this wonderful website that I've visited probably every day for the last decade has become a bit of a bitch fest. This gripe isn't pointed just at the video in this article, so please keep this in mind if you keep reading.
I have enjoyed Bethesda's RPGs since their first one (Arena) back in the 1990s. They've never been my top favorites, but their games are usually a sure-purchase by me at some point. And I loved the idea of "mods" introduced to the mainstream about the time Oblivion rolled around (yes mods existed before this but it was far more niche than around the time Oblivion rolled around imho… oh how I miss you Doom WADs).
I'm always impressed by the work modders achieve, even when they don't succeed bringing their mods to fruition… it's still sometimes amazing what they were able to accomplish technically.
But here's my gripe. Modders, especially modders who make "big" mods such as the one in this article (NOT limited to this article though) need to stop showcasing only scenes and set pieces from their mod. IT'S BORING AS HELL. Yes, I would like to see some scenes and some set pieces, but for all that is good and holy please do not limit your videos to just that.
Those who have played the core games for perhaps hundreds of hours… what we really want to know about your mod is how it's different in gameplay from the core game. These videos need to highlight these aspects and put them front and center, while still showcasing some of their scenes and set pieces.
If the progress with your mod is such that you can't really convey the differences in gameplay, then please, at the very least, use text overlays or voice overs to explain differences in gameplay while you showcase the scenery.
This problem becomes geometrically more boring with each passing year from when the core game was released. For example, Skyrim which as of now is 7 years old, a game where in total I put in nearly 1,000 hours over a 4 year period makes for a good example. If I watch a mod video for Skyrim and it's 5 minutes of showcasing scenery, I'll watch that video for about 10 seconds and I'm done. Within that first 10 seconds your mod video should indicate that it is going to showcase changes in gameplay, not just pan the scenery for 5 minutes. That's not a good thing for modders trying to get attention for their mod.
Okay, rant off… not even a huge rant… really a minor gripe that is 3 out of 10 where 10 is the apocalypse. Just have had this on my mind for a few years and wanted to put this out there for the record.

The city doesn't really look like it's been blasted by hydrogen bombs; just more like an abandoned ruin. I suppose the chaos of true destruction is just harder to model than the repeating, symmetric faces of tall buildings.

I rolled my eyes when I first saw the title, but it actually sounds pretty interesting when you read what Silver quoted from their site. Miami is so different from any previous Fallout location that I'd like to check it out for that fact alone.
Something like this could have made a great expansion or spin-off title.

I think static scenes are okay when A) the game is primarily exploration-based and B) what's shown leaves some mystery-- for instance, wide angle & distant views of areas to be discovered. But simply showing a few wrecked cars and overused building maps… I'm on board 'Team meh'.
One you've played a Bethesda Fallout game, you quickly realize there's not much new around each corner. Very few places surprise me anymore, and Fallout 4 chipped even more off my future interest. The game needs a reboot, IMO. I don't mean the setting and the 50's cliche, which can be milked all day, I love it-- but certainly the mechanics and gameplay… Yeah, we've discussed that to death on these boards so I won't get into it again.
I love Fallout, but Miami appeals to me as little as Boston did. I can appreciate the effort though, so good luck!

The "official teaser" bit made me cringe. There's nothing official about any of this, in fact the very use of the word official makes it look more amateurish than it should.

Horizon 1.5 for Fallout 4 was released today. It overhauls the game completely, its basically requiem for fallout. Its something worth checking out…ive been patching mods for it for quite some time and its come a long way. Its gone under the radar for the most part but deserves as much attention as mods like this one.

Horizon is a very large scale overhaul of Fallout 4 that re-balances and expands the game-play from the ground up.It contains thousands of changes.
