Doesn't matter if i'm playing Warcraft 1 or Supreme Commander. It's still inspired by Dune 2 (yes I know there were similar RTSs before. Let us not get pedantic).

So many fond memories playing Dune II, Dune 2000, & Emperor: Battle for Dune. Tis a shame we will not ever see another modern day remake. I'll go cry in the corner now.
At least I have Dune Wars: Revival for Civilization IV to play.

No one has ever accused pizza to be a clone. Well as far as I know.

I'm a Villeneuve fan, so looking forward to it! At least, more so than if it was some half-baked money grab like the Dungeons and Dragons movie.

That's kind of the point of Infinity Engine style RPGs![]()
Black Geyser looks like a copy/paste job of PoE, right down to the exact same interface.

When it comes to it being only a pizza-sized gamble, I look at it a little differently. I tend to think about crowdfunding pitches in a sort of community-centric way; I look at it as people wanting 50 grand from us, rather than 15 bucks from me. I think there is only so much money and goodwill to go around, and the failures take their toll on the prospects of solid projects. So, I guess that perspective makes me take it a little more seriously (not that seriously, though
).

Give me a tasty salad or a nice salmon over pizza any day, that stuff as a food is highly overrated. Now, if you want to talk lasagna or manicotti, we can delve into some real Italian cuisine!

If you're a Watcher who can't identify an infinity engine style game, then I can't help you.

Seems like you're the Watcher that can't identify such a game.
And if you can't distinguish between a similar style game and a blatant rip-off, you're the one in need of help.

Aaaaaaaaaanyways, I like the music. And I like what i'm seeing so far from a more "indie" production.
