Yakuza 0 - Released
August 3rd, 2018, 14:13
btw it wasn't me who started calling that rubbish as mushrooms. No, I don't know who started, all I remember is seeing it at quite a few places before ever writing it. I mean, I don't use that junk and in a perfect world I wouldn't need to mention it at all - such trash wouldn't exist.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the topic, first mod is out. Imagine what it does. PCizes the game, ofc!
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/first…blur-and-ssao/
This first version of Special-K for Yakuza 0 allows players to disable first-person blur, Depth of Field and SSAO.Also, save anywhere is disabled by default and there is no ingame option to enable it?! Dafuq?

- Make sure that ‘hidden files’ are showing in Windows.
- Go to Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Sega\Yakuza0.
- Open settings.ini and change SaveAnywhere=0 to SaveAnywhere=1.
- You will now be able to access a ‘save’ option in the settings menu.

On another hand, I will praise any game that runs normally on i5/r5 but "misbehaves" on i7/i9/r7. I mean… You don't drive to work with formula one car, right?![]()

But I'm STILL using my 2700k sandy bridge CPU from… 2011? It's been overclocked to 4.5 for 7 years. No regrets here. Gimme an i7 every time if it's gonna last this long.
I still have a mate on a i5 2500k too. Sandy bridge FTW!

Mushroom is just a little analogue joystick.
Pressing a key can only be ON or OFF. The mushroom is analogue and sensitive to smaller inputs. That's why you can push it a little and he walks or press all the way down and he runs. That's better control.
The trigger buttons on controllers are the same and work much better if you wanted something like the accelerator pedal on a car. Pressing W so he just floors it isn't as good as having a full range of acceleration which lets you actually hold what speed you want to go instead of always going faster and faster.

I hoped you'll ask… But since you didn't, my old steam reviews:
Neptunia - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/…mended/282900/
Sleeping Dogs - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/…mended/307690/
And I used joystick on C64. There wasn't anything mushroom on it nor replacement parts were called mushrooms or mushroom caps in stores.

The Sleeping Dogs review is good, though. I think I'll buy it on special now!

You should get a controller. I'm relatively new to controller on PC, too. I bought mine for Dark Souls. I was so bad at using it that I couldn't walk over the tight-rope sections in Sens Fortress because I couldn't walk in a straight line!
Now I'm pretty good with them and could easily walk the tight-ropes. It's really handy to have a controller when console games like Yakuza 0 come out. I'd way rather have mushooms than cry about bad KB+M support in a game designed for controllers.

Not your problem? xD
So, you can't name one game with IJKL as default keys? That was your problem if you wanted your comments to hold any weight.
But I knew you couldn't do it because I knew I was right.

Is that a set of ten black duckpins in that picture? Not sure if I've ever seen that colour used before for those!!
