"Production has begun on a new Netflix television series based on Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher Saga. It has nothing to do with video game maker CD Projekt Red."

What exactly is new? This is old news.
Platige's Tomek Baginski, who directed all three Witcher video game intro cinematics, will be involved as one of the directors.

yeah, Mads would make a perfect Geralt. I would also LOVE to see Emma as Ciri. Still thinking about Jennifer but I would definitively like a natural redhead in Triss' role.

I'm pretty excited about the Netflix production. They can fuck it up, but they could also make something great about an already successful story. E.g., with Fargo, the series after the movies were amongst the best stuff ever produced.
Of course hoping for GoT level quality. I guess they'll need some more cgi than GoT, which (I always read) is the expensive part.

Can't wait for this. I even watched the polish show haha..

Apparently Henry Cavill wants to play Geralt in Netflix's Adaptation of The Witcher!
He has apparently played the game twice and read the books!
For some reason I can't picture Henry Cavill as dude with his head phones on playing Witcher 3, but what do I know!
Anyway I am not sure if he will make a good Geralt but you never know.

The character needs charm, no cuteness and a bit of geriatrics. That makes either Jim Caviezel or Vincent Cassel perfect for the role.
