No, I have tried modern controllers. I have a play station controller. I also have another controller besides that. Some games that I play are meant for controllers and only play well with them, so I know how modern controllers feel in the hand.
Again, they do not feel comfortable at all. And I don't care about gaming while sitting in a relaxed posture on a sofa or couch. That has no appeal to me at all. You may love it, but that is your thing.
You are projecting your own preferences onto everyone else, it is very illogical. Other people know what pleases them and what they find more comfortable, better than you do, trust me.
Some things are just facts though (analog movement vs digital, comfort of 1 control instead of 2 different and the ability to sit how you want), or that mouse has better aim, these are not opinions.
Everyone has their preference. Controllers feels super comfortable to me. And sure you have tried modern controllers, but there's a difference between having long term (years) experience of usage and having used something once in a while. I must admit i did not use consoles or gamepads for many years (10'ish) and just in recent years (had the PS3 and now PS4) i've started to enjoy them again, especially so for their ergonomics and for the analog movement in third person games. I'm probably 80% PC though, PS4 has some really excellent exclusives so its a must have for any "hardcore" gamer imo. Totally depends on what genres you enjoy though, needles to say.

Ok, well, I'm done arguing the controller thing. As I said, mouse and keyboard are by far my favorite gaming setup. Like others, I would probably not game at all without it. By the way it has nothing to do with tribalism either. If a console was made that was cheap and just as powerful as a high end gaming computer, but had a capability to attach and play with mouse and keyboard, I would not hesitate to buy it. That said, I would still miss mods quite a bit. So would probably limit my game purchases for that console to games where I didn't care about the mod scene. Next, just wanted to agree with this:

I bet CDP Red will do that, because they are awesome when it comes to listening to players and customization.
My opinions on the gameplay trailer (after watching it twice and a half).
What I don't like:
- Red for the UI, hopefully that can be changed or there is a colorblind version

In fact, fast paced and visceral means in this case the result will depend upon the player dexterity instead of the character stats & skills.
We’ll see to what extend…

Yes, I remember them quite well. What do they have to do with Cyberpunk 2077?

I agree the balance is not there yet though, V can eat a shitload of bullets.

A used PS4 is as cheap as a decent graphics card for a PC.. no $1000 hardware needed at all unless you're like me, a total graphics and hardware enthusiast, but then you only have yourself to blame reallyThat kind of money is absolutely not needed to enjoy games..

I want to play it too, but I think it's wasted potential for the license. This game could of been outstanding if they stayed true to the P&P game, but this looks like a generic open world ARPG. The gameplay reminds me of modern looter-shooters like Fallout 4.
We've seen this from you before though. Like the way you latched onto Pathfinder: Kingmaker and wrote post after post about how inferior the game is despite not ever having played it.
You seem to think that saying the same things repeatedly is somehow going to make your opinion more valid. It doesn't. It just makes you annoying.
You also seem to be confused about what a looter-shooter is. I suggest you look that up.

I don't speak for everyone, but please don't pretend that there isnt a lot of very immature PC users who likes to pretend there's some kind of war between console users and PC (same goes for a lot of console users), and that you have to pick a side. It's really stupid. Both has strengths and weaknesses, i'm more of a PC gamer myself, but it's also because i'm a graphics enthusiast, if i was on a budget or just wasn't super into having the best graphics possible (or mods), then consoles all the way.
The way better price, more comfort and the advantages of analog movement control (in third person games this is really helpful, first person - not so much..) does make consoles a very enjoyable platform, but yes, it does take time to learn the gamepad controls (to get good with it).
I’ve owned just about every console that’s been made and have a ps4 pro now. I see nothing wrong with consoles. Please, don’t confuse me with Joxer.
I don’t care about PC vs console, play which ever you want doesn’t matter to me.
The trigger word for me was “enjoy” because for me personally part of the enjoyment of playing a PC game is the K&M controls. It may seem weird and it’s hard to explain but I just feel a different connection to a game when I’m playing with K&M. It’s a different experience than when I play with a controller and it definitely effects my enjoyment.
I’m also one of those weird guys who prefers sitting in a computer chair at a desk over sitting on the couch. I even play my PS4 at my computer desk.

Beyond that though I prefer PC gaming because it affords me the best graphics, highest frame rates, ability to tweak and mod games beyond what’s feasible on consoles and if I want to get real crazy I can hook a controller to it like I do for madden 2019.
Anyway, sorry for the detour. Back to cyberpunk 2077.

It looks about as much of an RPG as Fallout 4 too. Why even make a game using the CP 2020 license if you're going to make a game that looks and plays nothing like CP 2020.

Mike Pondsmith was shilling about how it would be a faithful adaption of the P&P game and stay true to the genre. It gave me the wrong impression of what to expect.

The world does look alive. I just wonder how reactive it will be, also hope it’s not full of people saying the same thing every time I walk by.
Interacting with the world reminds me of Deus Ex, the fish tank kill gives me a sleeping dogs vibe, which is really cool. Hope there’s more of that kind of thing.
My biggest concern would be the combat as it reminds me of the division which is not a good thing imo. Hope enemies aren’t as spongy as they look.
Overall though it looks promising. There’s still plenty of time for tweaking.

By the standards of an RPG (not a shooter), it's not bullet spongey in the least.

Instead he's now a "shill."He has a financial interest in promoting the game. What he said about it being an oldschool RPG and faithful to the P&P experience simply isn't true.

You keep calling it a bullet sponge. Kind of shows the inflexible nature of your thinking.
What's even more offensive about it is CP 2020 is known for realistic and deadly combat.

50 minutes of gameplay is a lot to analyze. I didn't see anything outside a few surface level similarities that reminded me of Cyberpunk 2020.
August 29th, 2018, 00:14
I don’t think any amount of information that is thrown at you will convince you of the opposite. All we have at the moment is what CDPR people have said and the video. I will post an article soon, with stuff that someone at CDPR said about the game and is opposite to your claims. I expect you to ignore that as something that can be true, as you are now so locked in to your biased view of what the game is in your opinion.

Silver Coin doesn't seem to comprehend that it's a game that's based on Cyberpunk 2020 rather than an exact recreation of the PnP game.
That, and when he doesn't like something he's seen, he tries his hardest to convince everyone else that it must be wrong.

Expecting an exact recreation of the P&P game would be unreasonable, but I certainly expected more similarities than what they've shown. It looks nothing like CP 2020.
Games this reminds me of - Destiny, The Division, Fallout 4, Grand Theft Auto 5.
I like those games, so don't get me wrong, but given this is a license of a P&P game I wanted something closer to Fallout: New Vegas or Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.
