Sega's cancelled Shenmue HD Remake
Path of Exile - Content Update 3.5.0 Details

Aside from some bugs, Sega's Shenmue 1 and 2 HD remaster was a good release but originally, plans were afoot for an altogether more ambitious project - and you can see it right here.Disco Elysium Video Preview

Path of Exile - Content Update 3.5.0 Details
We are halfway through Path of Exile: Delve and so we wanted to give you an update on what to expect for the remaining weeks before we launch our next expansion!Surge 2's Jan Klose on the Multiplayer Bandwagon and Industrial Apocalypse
Last week we deployed Patch 3.4.3e which contained a few bug fixes and some minor improvements to Delve. We are likely to have small bug fix patches in future but most of our intended significant changes to the league have now been deployed.
The development team is currently focusing on Content Update 3.5.0 which we expect to launch on the first week of December. This means we'll be announcing the full details of what to expect from this expansion three weeks prior, around November 9th. It's slightly larger in size than Bestiary, Incursion or Delve.
Set to release at some point in 2019, the sequel to Deck13’s sci-fi hack and slash The Surge has got the suckers for punishment at WellPlayed more than a little excited. Creative Director on The Surge 2 Jan Klose was good enough to take some time to discuss the upcoming sequel with us.

Grim Dawn Grim Misadventure #149 - Praise the Eldritch Sun
It’s…Grim Misadventure time! Last time, we took our first look at some of the Legendary items coming your way with the Forgotten Gods expansion.Hand of Fate 2: The Servant and the Beast DLC Released
Today, we look back to the skies and complete the collection! The upcoming Forgotten Gods expansion will feature nine new constellations. Previously, we had shown you the lesser powers, the servants of the mighty gods. Today’s update delves into the most powerful constellations.
Hand of Fate 2: The Servant and the Beast DLC evolves the Game of Life and Death once again with a brand new campaign challenge and a unique companion character.Fallout 76 – In Conversation with Bethesda’s Pete Hines
In the depths of despair, you struck a bargain with a strange new ally: your blood for freedom. But now your captors seek to drag you back to their cruel fighting pits, and the monstrous beast you serve demands more and more of you in order to achieve his ultimate goal - revenge against his conspirators and the reclamation of his throne.
Recently we made the trek to West Virginia to play an early build of Fallout 76, the first game in the series - and for developer Bethesda Game Studios - to tackle multiplayer. An approach that immediately drew attention when it eschewed the traditional MMO-form of something like The Elder Scrolls Online to build on the look and feel of Fallout 4. The same overall interface and mechanics, with a focus on exploration and rebuilding and shaping the world. Multiplayer Fallout where you can group up with friends, meet strangers, and head out in any direction.5 Promising Games Like Zelda That Fans Need on Their Radar
Here are five promising Zelda-like games that are worth looking into.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Amorous Adventures DLC Released on Steam
loading…
The heart of our much-loved young Sir Hans Capon is bursting with overwhelming longing for… his latest flame.Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Becoming Hans Capon
The second DLC "The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon" for Kingdom Come: Deliverance revolves around his attempts to woo the fairest maid he has ever set eyes upon, and his success will not depend only on his own mastery of the art of love – it’s also up to his trusty wingman, you - Henry, to ensure that The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon come to a happy end!
That’s the main objective linking three new quests, in which you will not only have to read love poems, arrange a nighttime tryst and keep an enraged butcher at bay, but also infiltrate the camp of a band of bloodthirsty brigands, enter a dice tournament, dig up a corpse, investigate a murder and… er… perhaps commit a few. All for love, of course!
loading…
Hans Capon is one of the most popular characters in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Watch Tobi and Luke Dale, the actor playing Hans Capon go through some of the most memorable scenes of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. In addition to that, a new story DLC with new quests surrounding a love affair of Hans Capon is released on October 16th - Get ready!

Fallout 4 Gets Extensive Story Mod Called Sakhalin
loading…
Welcome to Sakhalin Island, vault dwellers. Brought to you by the creators of Gothic: Orpheus mod for Skyrim and the upcoming game Trails of Ayash.Phoenix Point Development Update - Alien Bases
Much of the tactical combat in Phoenix Point takes place within human controlled Havens. These will not be the only places where combat occurs. There will be scavenging sites, your own bases to defend and enemy bases to attack, where the Pandoravirus mutates and grows its reinforcements.Queen's Wish: The Conqueror Update #9
Finding and destroying these aliens lairs will be fundamental to your success in the game. One of the main design goals for these enemy bases was to give them an organic appearance.
This is a pretty exciting update. The Queen’s Wish: The Conqueror engine is pretty much done. The base interface is in. The system is done. All the stuff in the game is scripted.'Fallout: New Vegas 2' Is Highly Unlikely, Says Obsidian
Of course, it’s not completely done. The final interface needs to be drawn, put in, and made pretty. There are a lot of minor things (like weather) that I tend to do late in the process. There are a million bugs. However, we have a full, playable game, and we’ve made several towns, dungeons, and outdoors sections. To take a break from interface stuff, I’ve also written over 40000 words of dialogue for the spine of the storyline.
Over the next few days, we’re going to do our first intense playing. Now that the base engine is done, we’re going to play it, find what is broken and imbalanced, fix it, and make sure the game is fun. Then we will go on to primary world design, the longest phase in the project.
With the recent rumor regarding Obsidian Entertainment being acquired by Microsoft, speculation of a Fallout: New Vegas sequel has been rampant. Obsidian had previously mentioned that they weren't ready for Fallout: New Vegas to be their last game in the Fallout-verse, but it looks like it might just be.PC Version For Resonance Of Fate High Resolution Textures As Free DLC
Recently the japanese developer tri-Ace announced that the PC version of the upcoming role-playing game Resonance of Fate 4K/HD, will get high resolution textures released separately as free DLC. This has been done to reduce the game’s total size.Bethesda Offers Revised Brotherhood of Steel History for Fallout 76
Fallout 76 has been under scrutiny from hardcore series fans for a while, and it isn’t just because of the online multiplayer focus or lack of NPCs. Instead, many long-time players have taken issue with how Bethesda has added the Brotherhood of Steel, specifically the East Coast chapter, to the game. Present information states that the creation of this chapter takes place more than 150 years after the setting of Fallout 76.Bethesda And Xbox Drop The Hammer On Player Over 'Fallout 76' NDA
Technology and video game companies take NDAs and embargoes seriously. You don’t break them. Apparently, a player who participated in last Saturday’s stress test for Fallout 76 on the Xbox One either didn’t get the message or thought he could get away with it. He didn’t, and both Bethesda and Xbox dropped the hammer on him.18 Excellent RPGs to Play Today
Role-playing games offer something that very few other games can, immersion and emotional investment, and the best ones make you care about the story, the characters and most importantly the world and lore.
Those are the games we are looking at today. The very best the role-playing genre has to offer in 2018.
In some cases we will include the entire series or trilogies, provided all of the games hold up today.
From dungeon crawlers to classic action RPGs and everything in between, these are the best modern role-playing games on the market,
Note: This list will not contain MMORPGs as that deserves its list.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog - Game Design
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to do the Q&A with Assistant Designer, Cihan Şekercioğlu that we announced last week. But, it is Thursday my dudes and the show must go on… Instead, in this week’s blog, we will talk about how we approach game design here at TaleWorlds, giving you a brief insight into the general process of taking an idea and turning it into a game feature.Posing as a lord in Kingdom Come’s romantic new DLC
One of the standout characters in Kingdom Come is undoubtedly Hans Capon. He makes a terrible first impression, the very picture of a stuck-up, self-regarding lord. But over time he warms to you and reveals himself to be a charismatic, thoroughly likeable character—something Warhorse was clearly aware of, as they’ve made the hedonistic, wine-loving heir to the Rattay throne the focus of its latest paid-for DLC expansion.

Very surprise they allowed early reviews and the positive scores. The only (big?) negative is that all the reviews i've read indicate that ai sucks at the new card game making it too easy.

The Kir'Ko suffered at the hands of the Star Union, now after the fall their faith is in their own hands.RPG Codex Grimoire Review
Computer role-playing games of this style and magnitude are not being produced in our present age. Not like Wizardry 6, not like Wizardry 7, or the classic party and turned-based dungeon crawlers of yesteryear. But the independent developer of Grimoire took it upon himself to craft such a title. For good or bad, like it or not, Grimoire: Heralds of the Winged Exemplar stands as a once in a generation contribution to the hobby.

“You enter a 10×10 room. There’s an orc here. It’s guarding a pie.” This scenario is how Colin McComb begins his answer to how writing for PC games differs from writing for tabletop. Bethesda has released its first schedule for the Fallout 76 beta on PC next week. Times may be subject to change, but if all things stay the same, here's when we'll be able to play the Fallout 76 beta on PC:Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog - Combat AI
Tuesday, October 30: 4 pm - 8 pm PT / 7 pm - 11 pm ET
Thursday, November 1: 11 am - 4 pm PT / 2 pm - 7 pm ET
Saturday, November 3: 2 pm - 6 pm PT / 5 pm - 9 pm ET
Sunday, November 4: 11 am - 6 pm PT / 2 pm to 9 pm ET
If times or dates change or more beta sessions are added, we'll be sure to update this schedule.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most important features of any single player game. Getting it right is key to the experience: it has to be almost invisible, so players (sort of) forget that they are playing against a machine. It has to be clever and fast enough to be a worthy opponent, but not too much – humans are fallible, after all; and ultimately the player, as the hero of the story, is supposed to win. It has to make use of the game mechanics at hand, not just to be fun and varied but to show the player what can be done. This rings especially true in a game such as Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, where skill-based combat and epic large-scale battles are at the core of the experience.Kingdom Come: Deliverance Important Patch 1.7.1
Hello Everyone,
Once again, we extend our sincere apologies to those affected by the most recent bugs which have shortened your playing time with our latest DLC. Now that the patch is out, you will be able to get the full experience for The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon and free update Tournament.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to improve the experience and quality of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Thank you for your support and check back here for regular updates and news.
