This is actually not being done by InXile. They found a third party to work on it.

And a new day and a new patch. No matter who is doing the updates, I like it if devs patch their game continously and don't wait till big milestones for patches. Obviously you need to have lots of QA for MP games with an economy which could break. But for SP games, this is great.

At the same time, though, while I appreciate the hard work and effort, it also tends to have me put projects on the back burner, if it appears to me that they need significant more work to complete.

Yeah, but I'd rather have them fix it while I am playing instead of having to wait a month until the next "milestone" at which I finished the game already.

When management pressures development based on marketing based on estimates sent to them that they set in stone and development gets tired of constantly fixing bugs instead of developing and QA gets frustrated because their bug reports keep getting ignored and they are the lowest on the totem pole
