Controller Usage Data
December 1st, 2018, 14:55
In sept Steam published some interesting data. At first I was a bit shocked that they had sold 1.5 million steam controllers which matches the number of pc gamepads in use for a total of nearly 4 million (nearly 1 million other controllers). But then they also showed the data for consoles; which total over 50 million.

What does this mean to myself; the steam controller is probably a success but PC gamers want good KB/M controls !!!!!

(They include % of controllers actually in use on steam which is a fraction of total controllers)

My brother and I both bought a steam controller but neither of us has used it in years.
If I’m playing at my computer I use M&K almost exclusively. If I’m using my steam link in the bedroom or livingroom then I use a PS4 controller.

I received a controller, not the steam one I think it's an X-box controller that works for computers, a few years ago. I use it mostly for older jprg's myself, all things considered I prefer to use the mouse and keyboard.
