I tested this game quite a lot late last year, and then took a very long break from it. Picked it up this week and I'm really looking forward to replaying this masterful game, and hopefully some modules that I've never tried before!

Are you already in chapter 4?
Enjoying the story twists and the way it reintroduces characters from earlier acts. Thanks for the list CP - fantastic! That's the next five years of my life sorted!

In between waiting for the Kingmaker DLC in April I want to play an NWN module. Was thinking Aielund Saga or Tortured Hearts. Which one should I play?

I've played the Aielund Saga to many times to count. From it's very first release to it's last version, and it's still one of the best mod campaigns to play till date.
Other mods that come close.
Bastard of Kosigan - http://neverwintervault.org/project/…nglish-version
Knights of the Holy Grail - http://neverwintervault.org/project/…timate-edition

Almraiven / Shadewood are two great modules I can't recommend enough if you really want to feel like a Necromancer. The 3rd / final part is supposedly still in development.
Bone Kenning is another very interesting take on necromancy.

I can't see Android being a good platform for NWN given the controls and the need for so many quickslots. I would think you'd need a wide screen to see everything that goes on. So how does it really play, Mike? Got any details.
I will say, at $9, the base price is better than it is for PC (at regular price) but its still too high - especially for a beta even if it will include the stable release version.
And you know what - it actually works!
Sure the controls are a bit wonky - first this is android, which is inherently less efficient as a tablet OS than iOS … and I alway find those ‘virtual joystick’ systems a bit clunky.
But they put a big pause button next to the quick slots bar, which is very helpful in terms of size and location.
They also use ‘long press’ as a right-click substitute, which isn’t as good as ‘force touch’ on iOS but works pretty well. After a short time, disabling traps and unlocking chests happens very quickly.
The game has already seen two or three patches since release, which then require additional downloads upon launching the game after a patch to update all the ‘bif’ files. The initial release was quite buggy, but since the first patch I haven’t had a crash or other problem worth noting. Well … occasionally it gets a bit laggy in terms of responding to controls and then I’m walking into a wall

Pleasantly surprised, really. Especially since I have now played more of NWN:EE on a tablet than BG:EE, BG2:EE, IWD:EE and PST:EE combined! Only KOTOR have I actually completed on a tablet (and only once!)

No haks needed - its all scripted.
I will take a look soon to make sure its NWN:EE compatible. I should also look at publishing my college team project to the Vault as well as my Star Trek mod and my addition to the DM wand: dropping a house on a player.

OK, I just started Chapter 2, and finished pretty much everything in Chapter 1 (side-quests, optional stuff, all henchmen, etc.).

Supposed it would be fun to play it on a tablet. Phone would just be too small.

Interesting. What model tablet you playing on?
I think I read it was planned but user content wasn't quite there yet… Is that correct do you know? Am thinking of modules/adventures rather than gameplay or visual mods.
Thanks

I am playing on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, which is the pinnacle of Android tablets at the moment.

Imperfect, but better than the fiddly touchscreen.
