And of course, configuring the mech needs to work well, too, that's half the fun. I have not seen the mech configuration part in any gameplay videos yet.

Hmm, I don't think I've heard of Gloomhaven or Operencia: The Stolen Sun before now, so I'll have to look into those. Edit: definitely no on Operencia, not sure about Gloomhaven.
I have no interest in Black Geyser (RTwP blick!!) and am uncertain about WL3 (never finished WL2, as it got too repetitive for me). Also not sure about Outside Worlds- I really wouldn't be remotely interested if not for Caine & Boyarsky's leading the development.
Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the rest of Scally_wag's list, but also Sacred Fire, Odd Gods, Forged of Blood, Age of Grit, Celestian Tales: Realms Beyond. There's a few other RPGs I'm hopeful for but probably won't come out this year & might be vaporware.

Thus far I'm looking forward to Realms Beyond, The Outer Worlds, Wasteland 3, and Cyberpunk 2077. Possibly Iron Oath as well. The rest I'll have to wait and see. If Pathfinder: Kingmaker ever gets fully patched with a working ending, I'll give that a try this year.
