Me too. They bought me a RadioShack Color Computer with “extended” 8K memory. I coded a Zork type game in line code Basic when I was 12. Had to load levels off cassette

My theory is simply this : The more money is spent for graphics (or anythini similarily complicated in development), the less money is left for revenue.
Plus the shareholders also want money.
