Explore a war-torn fantasy world!

Battle through deadly dungeons!
- Explore three regions, each with their own enemy sets, objectives and multi-part campaign quests.
- Visit towns to barter in markets, discover new quests, and level up your warriors to gain new skills and gameplay possibilities.
- Paths between dungeons are littered with events and opportunities to improve your chance of victory in the next turn based battle!
Experience all the peril and danger of the Warhammer world as you battle your enemies through Chaos ridden dungeons.
Heroes and Enemies!
- Encounters come to life as your warriors enter the fray with a vast array of weapons and skills.
- Hold your enemies back with fire, use ice to freeze them to the spot, or poison them with lethal toxins.
- Attack with magic staffs, explosive pistols and flaming hammers. If all else fails use legendary armour or mystical robes to deflect attacks.
A variety of different heroes and enemies bring huge tactical variety to the dungeons. From Sorceresses and Mages, to Witch Hunters and Knights. Find which characters best suit your playstyle.
Easy to learn, hard to master. Engage in deep tactical gameplay as you encounter new enemies with new devious abilities that will test your strategic ability to its limits.
- Choose from 12 different Hero classes. All with unique weapons, armours, skills and items!
- Battle over 40 types of enemies, ranging from simple minded Beastmen to devious Skaven Seers and monstrous Trolls!
- Collect and equip over 200 different weapons, items and armours. Figure out which combination is most effective for bashing the enemy!
Can you defeat the Chaos invasion? Only the mightiest will survive in Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times!

Oooo… do my eyes deceive me? An actual WFRP turn-based game with a four-person party? Oh wait, it's a phone game.
Has anybody played the first one?

Damn! Damn! Damn!
It happens to me every time. I start reading about a new game, I start to get excited and then it comes. That kick in the guts!
Turn based combat! I can't tell you how much I hate it. At least Pillars of Eternity now offers a choice between real time and turn based. I just wish all games did.

Almost thought it was another game called Warhammer: Chaosbane. Oh well this looks like a mobile ported game, and we rarely see any good Warhammer games lately.
Though Warhammer: Chaosbane does look promising.

@Tiptoe it's an ARPG like Diablo or Hack & Slash.

I played the first one for longer than I had any reason. Got WQ2 on release day and have played for half a day already. It is content/feature complete, has a story-line and is a bit less grindy. Loving it so far!

I actually finished the first one : if you simply expect a (honest) table-top game port, then it's quite acceptable. But there are two pre-requisites : loving turn-based combat (even when quite basic) and the Warhammer setting.

I played the first game - it was pretty good. I watched some gameplay vids of this second one… the port looks ok to me (looks pretty good, UI seems decent). It seems that if you know what you're getting into, this will be a decent game.

I bought the first but requested a refund because of the IAP's. Not that I mind buying expansions, but to pay more than you paid for the game just to get a new character to play with? No thanks.

“Mixed” means about 50% of the reviews are negative. There are probably more negative reviews then what you are seeing.
The initial iOS reviews for #2 were fairly negative, although apparently there were notable improvements since then. The original for the iOS had tons of paid unlocks too despite being a premium priced game, which was a major turn off at the time as well.

I avoided the first game just on the basis of how they seem to do their additional content for the product. If I ever see the entire line on sale for a good price, I'll likely give it a try.

I don't like the straight top down camera, is there a way to change that in settings?
