Looks pretty but not for me, not into MMO shooters. Interesting gamespot video on all the competition going on right now in this genre, and how Anthem may be a big gamble -

The Neill Blomkamp trailer:
Yeah…. it's not really working for me. I was never a big fan of live action trailers for video games, and I don't think they're a great fit for games like this.
The only live action thingy I can remember liking was for The Division - but it wasn't amazing or anything.
Seems a gigantic waste of resources to me, but maybe this kind of marketing actually works.

The rumor is that Neill Blomkamp is bankrupt and needs anything to work on. Apparently he tried to do some crowdfunding and it failed.
Wouldn't surprise me other financially ruined names like Nicholas Cage also took the money to appear in the trailer. One must pay bills even if it means filming lootboxes advertisment.
