Well, another of the masters has died. For me ”Shadow of the Torturer” and the associated first series, ”The Book of the New Sun”, was amazing!

Hard to believe he was 87. I read his books in my youth and enjoyed them.

A true giant and stellar author. It's been quite some time since I read his books, but I've not forgotten them. RIP.
