I see they have added coup de grace - which is a nice nod to D&D/PF rules. I wish they'd add "take 10/20" for certain skill checks - like lock picking. This is legal PF and represents the fact that you are skill-full and can do well when not under pressure (attacks etc). I guess they didn't want people to open chests unless RNG decided they should…and felt it was "unbalanced'? So I just reloaded until I go the number I was entitled to :-) Oh the iniquity!

Both the EE and DLC3 will be out tomorrow!! Who's excited??? I am!!!

I would be if new Path of Exile league was not starting in 2 days. I think I am going to play that first and wait until Owlcat patches EE and DLC first (we all know they are going to need at least a few patches).

I'm very excited. Only made it to chapter 5 during my first play through. I think I will wait a few weeks though because I played once already when the game was buggy. Would like a smoother ride this time since the game is so long.

Played a Paladin the first time. Anyone have a suggestion on a real fun character class?

Do you have to start a new game to get the the enhancements to the core game? I'm in Nyrissa's House doing a second playthrouh and those pesky wild hunt gits are looming large in my future :-P

From what I heard, you should be able to use current save on EE.

Ah great! I don't mind either way since I'm fairly close to the end, but if they have reduced the grind in the last stage that would be really welcome.

I think everyone is too hyped with BG3 announcement to care for Kingmaker EE

Already installed EE patch and continuing my playthgrough. Nothing weird as yet - did encounter a wild hunt monarchg and number of hunt and golems, and fight seemed slifghly easier (but that may be because i'm now level 17…). I dropped 2 (yes two!) horrid wiltings, one empowered and not one of them died grrrr! Are the hunt considered evil? Their stats say they are CN which means my paladin can't smite them, which is a pain.

No, no. I bought the DLCs and I was reading the patch notes which are quite lengthy and impressive. I did not remember than I wanted all those new features but I clearly need them now.
Plenty of time anyway before BG3 is available.

The Wild Hunts are CN, so not evil. Yeah, they are tough and come in so many waves =.=

I'm waiting on patch since there's a bug that doesn't let me use custom portrait, noooooooooo!!! I wanted to play 3rd DLC tonight

Ah.. No good .. Hope than they will come with a quick solution ..

Hotfix is already out. Trying out to see if it allows me to use custom portrait now

So much new features…. and it's running smoothly without any issues so far
