Default Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls - Timing Update

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls will not be released before January 2020:

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls Release Timing Update

Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen IP licensing issue previously mentioned, Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls will not be able to launch on PC this year. Discussions with the licensor have concluded that this title cannot launch until early next year.

We too are eager to get this game out, and appreciate our fans' patience with this delay. We look forward to sharing more specifics as soon as we can.
More information.

Well, that's a bit disappointing, I hope it all works out in the end. I know I'll be buying this just as soon as it's available.

Sounds like some (music?) license runs out and a lower price Dec 31. Then they have a month to get it to market with the new IP or the same IP at a lower price.

No indication Trebor and Werdna are behind this.

I played it on PS3. It's pretty nice, except the one-hit one-kill enemies. Also, your characters get to the point where you can kill everything with one hit, also, so it's just a matter of who goes first.

After replaying the first two Bard's Tale games in years, I'm thinking this Wizardry game will seem a cake-walk. Although I'm not quite done with the second game yet, if Dorian spares me I might complete it this week.

Like to see someone re-release the original Wizardry. Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord was the first CRPG game I played.

I've been praying for that very thing for decades, a remastering of the first five wizardry games would be spectacular.

Wizardry 7 was like that by 3/4 through the game. Only the diabolically impossible puzzles stopped me from progressing
