Wow.
Just checked my mailbox, and boy, did I find some really great stuff.
Not so great:
pibbur who is a bit puzzled since all these mails appeared not in his inbox, but in a folder named "junk". He has to do something about that, as it would be stupid to miss such great offers. Maybe Microsoft can help, next time they call.

- Mail from Donald Trump offering me a gold coin to celebrate his historic presidency
- A great offer for a lottery system, which I unfortunately can't accept since it's about American lotteries and AFAIK not legal here in Norway. However I am truly impressed by this guy. Imagine he could have kept the system to himself and received oodles of lottery cash. In stead he chooses to sell the system cheaply to us, even if that will significantly lessen his lottery income.
- A Couch Potato (aka Russel) has a course which will increase my income from 0 to 7000 USD a month.
- Some Edmond Hill claims to have something better than coffee. I refused to open that one, since, needless to say and therefore I say it, nothing is better than coffee.
Not so great:
- Somebody has, using my webcamera, filmed me watching naughty web-sites, and will send the result to all my contacts unless I pay them. I wonder how they managed to do that, since I don't have a webcam, but anyhow: If someone post things like that here: That isn't me.

Had this mail as well. It was actually well made, as besides of the video-threat they also sent the email address via the (supposedly) hacked mail (you could see in the mail header that it was not) and mentioned a password which I actually used at some point somewhere.

Ouch. Fortunately they claim to use the webcamera on my PC.

So are you saying the first quantum computer was a cat in a box?

How about all games have a single huge lootbox you pay for up front that contains all the options, items, skins, unlocks etc? I'd pay for that!!

My wife and I are like chalk and cheese when it comes to emails. She does not bother to clear them out until there are approx 500 to 750 in her inbox. Me except for a few that are there to remind me to do something I have approx zero by the end of each day.
PayPal has sent me an email claiming that they are doing random checks and would like me to confirm my details. Also my account is disabled. I must admit it looks very real but we all know it's a scam. Just to be sure I logged in (not using the email provided link). Oh dear they must of forgot to disable my account.
There is also a lottery win - that I didn't enter. Winning lots of money would ruin my life so I am ignoring it. And then there is Peace Liberation who seem to be interested in my spiritual karma. You can be too happy so I will delete that one as well.
Emails helps to get the blood pumping.

Social engineering (Emotet !) is a thing now in spamming.
Most of them want to give me money - but there are enough tales of loan-sharks out there.
One of the most weird e-mails I got was that of someone who claimed to be an U.S. soldier in Afghanistan, wanting to leave the army, wanting to make business with me, and saying he has 10,2 million euros´, coming from terrorist raids, probably money terrorists had gotten by ill means. Saying that he does not want to transfer that money to the government, but instead transferring it out of country via a red cross firm, with the ultimate goal to build up a home for orphans with this money.
The language of the e-mails is relatively well translated, but a few quirks tell me that it was translated via a program. German language has a relatively complex grammar, at which most programs fail. I once read that Sanskrit has an even more complex grammar, though.
