Pocket fantasy RPG; any good?

I have some family members that want to play 'DnD' on Xmas day and boxing day because I play Warhammer (they think that it's the same)
I'm super excited that they're showing interest because I think it will be great fun Only problem is that I'm not very experienced at all with DnD and have come across these free rules which seem pretty fun and quick so that all ages can play.
I know they're not as crunchy as real DnD but Would you recommend these rules?
