Default Yesterday's releases "bombardment"

December 4th, 2019, 15:26
Had a busy day, got brought to knees at work and afterwards couldn't do what I want and got extremely agitated, blew off the steam by putting all of my free time into KCD instead of watching the evergrowing list of exotics…

And I thought at one point, let's do a short check what new is game released, just to see if it's maybe postponed and to keep in touch (no, I don't suffer from social networks disease called FOMO).
And I was like

Not one but 8 "new" releases:
1. Phoenix Point, okay we all knew it's coming
2. NWN:EE on consoles, should be called NWN:GotMilk
3. Arise: A Simple Story, which is platformer+adventure combo
4. Halo: Reach, 60FPS version on PC
5. Blair Witch, previously on PC and Xbox, went also to PS4
6. SaGa: Scarlet Grace, finally officially translated ancient jrpg
7. Life is Strange 2, final episode
8. Tools Up!, coop whatnot

Can someone explain this to me. What logic is behind so many releases only a day after BF weekend and cyber monday? I mean, everyone already spent tons of $.

Outside of Outer Worlds, I wouldn't give $5 for all of the rest of the releases this fall. What a bunch of dreck.
