Cyberpunk 2077 - Release delayed

No big deal. Would have more then enough games to play even if no games at all were released till September. Or longer …

If only they delayed it to add third person support, haha…

Yeah, I would love that. For quite some time, until they announced it was FP only, I was expecting CP2077 to surpass The Witcher 3, but that is no longer the case. I'm sure I'll still enjoy it though.

No. Your life and everyone's life is too short to waste it on grinding. You can't avoid grinding completely as you need work to pay bills. But when it comes to free time…

In other words, better a 100+ hours storydriven with c&c singleplayer several playthroughs than life wasted on Destiny/Anthem.

This game does get a lot of reactions in a RPG site for being a Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter. Hopefully I won't see myself commenting on Battlefield or Call of Duty

It's not multiplayer. Or online. According to rumors, such features might be coming in 2021 or 2022. Until then, it's a single player RPG like The Witcher 3 etc, but first person only.

As far as I'm aware MP isn't even a possibility at launch, so the "Online shooter" part of your post is completely wrong. Which makes your entire post wrong because that was the entire point of it.

We're talking about two games here. CP2077 which is strictly singleplayer and CP mmo which is not bundled with the singleplayer on release.
This is not ME3 nor is GTA5/RDR2. This is not screw you sceme where you pay for something you don't want to.
You will buy mmo separately if you want it. If you don't want it, CDpr won't ask $ from you but will charge your card only for the singleplayer game.

At least it looks that way to me. Here's hope I'm not wrong. Because if I'm wrong and by buying CP2077 we paid for CPmmo too, that's the same fraud EA/rockstar/Konami/etc practice.

Very disappointing. Obviously I want the game to be as good as possible, but along with everything else from early 2020 that was delayed (Bloodlines 2, Watch Dogs, etc) this really leaves a void. I was hoping that if they delayed it, it would be for a month or something. Not another 5 freaking months.

The "this isn't an RPG" crowd can kiss my you know what. Go gatekeep somewhere else.

This is beyond stupid. The mutiplayer component isn't a second anything. It's not a separate title. I didn't read the article, but if that's what they actually wrote, I guarantee that gets walked back at some point.

Any "creative" work on Cyberpunk 2077 is done by this stage.

I’m fine with it. I’m not super hyped for it anyway. I’m not a huge fan of cyberpunk setting or FPS’s.

Honestly, if it wasn’t being made by CDPR I wouldn’t have any interest.
