Encased - Third Content Patch Preview

The latest update for Encased previews what we can expect from the third content patch. Another recent update showed off Crystal Sands, portable computers, and dart guns.

The experiment of CRONUS Corporation comes to an end -- life under the Dome is suitable for human habitation. Researchers may still encounter very dangerous cockroaches, but in most cases we have fixed the problem.
On August 13 we will release the third and final content patch for the early access of Encased. After that, the next update will be the release version of the game. Big changes are waiting for us, the third patch is the last chance for players to touch the early version of the game, to see how the story begins! Today we will reveal the details of the third content patch. Reworked RPG balance, updated locations, exciting stories and adventures, stealth, non-lethal weapons and new artifacts to study -- learn all about this in our new video.

First 30 seconds of above vid:
- WTF?! Developers mistook an RPG for a FCKN terrain simulator?!
Designing an UI is not just creating photo-realistic terrain, which an RPG doesn't need, but designing the LOOK, where on just one screenshot players can visually separate the combatants from the background!
Classic mistake.. Encased devs made here.
Look at how in Fallout 1-2 the separation of NPCs from the MAP graphics itself is EXCELLENTLY done. The player can instantly make out where people / characters are on the map versus Encased, where we almost can't see SHT as a result of faulty 'MAP-COLOR-INTENSITY'-design!
Wrote this to them as well.

Another game inspired by Fallout just makes me want to play the finished release. So hopefully it gets released sometime in 2021 given the rate of development in updates.
