Yes that's a rule for major awards. Probably why Last of Us 2 will win them instead.

Last of Us 2 definitely makes more sense, to be honest. But Immortals?! No way.
I am probably going against the popular opinion, but Ubi games right now have no souls and most are using the same old formula. I am not even sure if i am going to buy their newest big trio (AC: Valhalla, FarCry 6 and WD:L) due to the fact that those are so far of the old gameplay and story. You can imagine that Immortals is even lower on that list, especially when it seems that they've reused quite a few assets from AC: Odyssey.
Oh, well. If people like the game, who am I to spoil their enjoyment. But for me, is just another typical Ubi recent game.
