Henriquejr spotted dev update #27 for Solasta: Crown of the Magister:
Dev Update #27 - What's cooking beyond Wizard's Tower?More information.
Hey there folks!
With all the recent patch notes and other articles about community feedback and bug fixing, we haven't been showing you a lot of new stuff lately. This is something we intend to fix… today, now, this very round! In fact, stop whatever you're doing and roll initiative, we're getting right down to business!
… But first, here's our weekly cat allowance.
Fire in the Hole!
You know it, we know it, the adventure does not end at the Wizard's Tower. Your party will be going ever deeper into the Badlands, entering orc territory next. Now, there are tons of things we'd love to share with you - but we also do not wish to spoil everything, which is why you'll have to make do with a few pictures for now!

One of the biggest reasons I support and purchase games with potential in EA is in the hope that they will continue to add content, looks like Solasta will not disappoint.

Well when a game has minimal content on it's EA release the sky is the limit.
Basically it has to add more content.

Basically it has to add more content.

For the quantity: the Early Access has act I and scraps of act II, and it's capped at level 6, they estimated it at 14 hours of gameplay. The full release has Act I, II and III, and is estimated 40-hour long.
Regarding quality, they are doing a great job juggling with all the limitations of a small studio and the desire to put so many things. There is a good balance in all the features, but I must admit that the storytelling could be a bit deeper, and the quests a bit more varied to have a really perfect balance.
From the last content they added, it looks like they're going in that direction, fingers (and toes) crossed

Yeah, the EA has been pretty solid from the start. Not a huge amount of content length-wise, but quality. I've played some that had far less.

I like what I see with the difficulty levels!
Don't miss that "force dialog roll success" or "no food required"

Probably a bit over the top, yes. That should help with the testing of the game, however!
And who knows, that may still change.
Unlike BG3, they have serious DnD fans in mind. This way, they can still keep everyone happy.

That's too much imo, although I guess there's no harm in it since they can easily be ignored. Some of those are like built-in cheat codes.
