I think that was the "evil eye", right ?
"Duplicatus" was, I think, to create illusionary doppelgängers/mirror images ?
Was also a bit of a problem with combat spells in the game. You really needed to invest a big amount of points, and as there is no reskilling or anything, experimenting wasn't really a thing.

… That brings up good memories … Like going into that Orc cave fortress, slaying the orcs, and looting and later selling every single bit of loot my party could carry …
Or, losing party members due to light clothing in a cold winter … That taught me things !

( I see them now in the Dungeon of Naheulbeuk with the greed for gold of that dwarf with germanic accent, or the barbarian's inabvility to be diplomatic … )
