Wigmund - Status & More Open World

A status update for Wigmund: Return of the Hidden Knights.

Hello!

With a little over a month remaining of the current quarter, we've thought to give a little bit of insight of the status of 'Wigmund' and the plans for the near future. Let's dive right into it!

ENVIRONMENT

The outdoor environment has begun receiving it's roaming enemies. They include wolfs, boars, bears, bandits, unleashed water and rock elementals along with a few others.

We can see here that Wigmund has to fight off a little boar infestation in his back yard:



The open-world outdoor will play a crucial part during the first and second chapter of the game. All the first three chapters of the game will be released during this summer.

Another location that we're finalizing is the evil Gedwimor Castle. Here, Wigmund and his companions will face some of the most terrible challenges during his adventure-quest:



The Gedwimor Castle will appear in the fourth and fifth chapters of the game. This content will be released as the final part of the game in winter, this year.

COMPANIONS



Speaking of Wigmund's companions, Angel Arael will join Wigmun's fellowship as an auxiliary flying companion that will provide healing and buffs during combat. He can be summoned or dismissed as required.

With its mix of Soulslike combat with open world isometric gameplay, it's one of those games that I wait eagerly alongside Alaloth. I played the demo. It's a bit rough around the edges, but definitely has potential.
