Yep, I was lucky enough to start with the last enhanced plus edition so I didn't have to go through that (and I don't own a console).
There are as many loading screens, but they're faster
I'm still hyped so I can't help reporting what I see, but I know the feeling. Just ignore those news until the game is really out and stable![]()

As for loading screens it was a pipe dream as most Unity Engine RPGs have to many of them. I blame Witcher III & OS for spoiling me with not needing load screens.
By that I mean you don't need to load a new area just to enter a house.

It's the same as Kingmaker I think. Some houses don't require loading, only if they're big. And the equivalent of the throne room for some reason. Probably easier to handle with Unity as you said.
One that annoyed me particularly with loading screens was PoE2, because it was quite slow, for areas that weren't that big to begin with. Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's an excuse not to finish it
I didn't like those loading houses / dungeons in Morrowind and later ES games either, because it broke the immersion of an open-world game.Originally Posted by Alrik FassbauerYou'll have to tell us if there's any resemblance

And you can now also clean the summons on maps.
TESTED: the mode is indeed cleaning the party.json file !! (you may have to leave a map and click on the CLEAN button to trigger it). From 54Mo to 2.7Mo
What you still have to do manually is to clean the corpses on each map.
EDIT:Gained ~50% loading time with the summon cleaning, @newman55 you are a god
I'm now searching how to remove all the corpses reference in the remaining file, i may be able to get another extra 50% gain, and be back to under 20s loading time.
EDIT2: also BIG THANKS to the guy that found out about the summon bloating and gave the solution to clean the saves

A modder released a mod called cleaner. Supposedly it's do to save bloating in Unity games. I also noticed this problem for many crowdsourced Unity RPGs.

My experience with Kingmaker wasn't positive on it's release. I referred to it as a bug filled load screen simulator. My opinion thawed with the enhanced edition and it's fixes.
I only want two things less bugs and loading screens.

The game is absolutely playable. Only minor issues (for me).
Also not compatable with Pathfinder. Completely different game.
