Weird characters, a big setting, and tradition RPG elements make for a unique game that doesn't come together as much as you'd like. It just feels half finished in some places and tonally inconsistent in other, making the for a big turn off in the game.

I think that's the best review of Biomutant I've seen yet. He echoes my thoughts about it exactly. Inconsistent visuals, annoying dialogue, competent but floaty combat, etc. It's too janky to be priced as a AAA game.
I might give it another try somewhere down the line, but only at a hefty discount.
