I've already gotten more enjoyment from watching this train wreck of a development process than I expect to get from the game itself, should it ever release.

I'd say more perils of a terrible publisher and a mediocre development studio. If Paradox was wise they should have approached one of the larger developers, or Publisher.

As all they know how to fund and develop is grand strategy and budget sims.

I guess I'll know it is truly dead when they start issuing refunds to idiots (like me, of course) who pre-ordered it a couple of years ago. But yeah, at this point it is likely for the best - I liked what I saw initially, but not what I have heard subsequently.
