Beats me as I enjoyed all of the DLC. Maybe it has to do with how Warhorse Studios implemented the DLC. As you can only start the DLC at certain parts of the game.

Or because of all the bugs that came with the DLC but have mostly been fixed.

As far as I recall, the only DLC I didn't enjoy was "A Womans Lot" and that was mostly because it contained so much running around over large distances and I think at one point I ended up stuck not being able to reach a certain location for quite a while.

As a rule, DLC mostly sucks these days, better to wait for a GOTY edition!
The game was a victim of Steam review bombing due to one of the founders of the studio getting embroiled in gamergate nonsense too; those tools have long memories so anything Warhorse puts out will be down voted.

Amazing graphics engine, yet the facial expressions suck Camel arse. Wasteland 3's facial mimicry done in Unity is world-class compared to this trash.

The Hans Capon DLC initially didn't work as intended at all and so got hit hard in the Steam reviews. All good now apparently, through I've not played it.

I went through most of the additional content last summer for Kingdom Come, while not as enjoyable as the main game, they each had something of value. As Feist mentioned above, A Woman's Lot was the one I think I'd skip next time around, should I ever do a replay of the entire game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is easily among my top 10 games.
I liked all the DLC. In the case of A Woman's Lot, the DLC offered three main things:
1. a quest where you play as Theresa and explore Skalitz before and during the attack. It gives a different perspective on life in Skalitz and helps give more depth, personality, and motivation to Theresa
2. a quest where Henry helps a friend from Skalitz who is accused of heresy by the Inquisition. It is a nice quest with multiple endings.
3. Dog companion and houndmaster skill. I like the dog and it is very helpful when you are hunting, treasure hunting and during combat.

I would really liked to have played 2. and 3. during my first (and only) playthrough. But I won't start a new one just for some additional content.

And 3. would have really been cool as kind of a small prequel some weeks before the actual release of the game.
I seriously wonder if this might be a really good marketing idea for games to release a small appetizer of the game before. Not like a demo, but from a different perspective, before the main plot starts.
TW3: playing a small adventure with Dandelion/Triss/Zoltan
WotR: playing Aneivia/Irabeth fighting a small demon cult
CP77: playing a mission with Jackie/Judy/Panam/Goro

Of course there are some difficulties here, but I'd love it.

A Woman's Lot was a kickstarter goal offered because backers complained they couldn't play a female MC. It was supposed to be a prequel but that changed in development.

I like these ideas and I've had similar thoughts myself. Why can't devs think outside the box a little more?

Huh, I had forgotten about 2 & 3, I thought it only included the Theresa quest. The inquisition trial was a great little episode.

Yeah, those quests are fairly meaty and added a lot of additional play-time for me, which only elevated the series.

Kingdom Come really is a rare gem. Think, a small studio did manage to pull off a game nobody had ever made using nearly AAA graphics that time. They made chores gamey features and enjoyable at that. The monastery quest was a real masterpiece (although damn irritating and boring if you messed up). Also getting drunk with the priest was one of the most memorable guests of any game I have played. The story wasn't bad either. I wish they'll make a sequel.

If you haven't played this game and like third/first person "action RPGs", this game is very much recommended. It is not like any other game in good and bad.

Pity that the gamers gate BS had to taint the game. It, and the studio, did not deserve it due to one (possibly) moron. Don't look at the review scores. If it was released back then in the current condition without 1e10 bugs and without the negative press due to one person, it would have earned a Metacritic score of > 90.

Meant to thank for posting this news-bit. I claimed the DLC. Not sure when I'll play it though.

Yep not bad from an unknown developer that promised an open word medieval RPG. I still remember debates on this forum about how Historical RPG's wouldn't sell.

Only aspect I didn't like was the combat and combat controls.

My only beef with KC: D is the system requirements if you want to play with all the bells and whistles. I haven't played it since the year it was released though so I wonder if it's been further optimized at all. Anything over medium settings turned my video card into a leaf blower.

My rig is over ten years old now and still running windows seven, I didn't have any issues playing this game. Now, I didn't play it until last spring/summer, so no idea what it was like at launch, I can say my ten plus year video card didn't seem to have any problems running it. Though I do immediately turn off audio and tend to decrease graphics the moment I first launch a game.
