The Totally NEW Team Corwin Thread

Meanwhile I fully agree to the notion of "everybody's avoiding Shan-To-Kor" (said by Az in the last session or in the one before that), I found, to my own surprise, that the introducing quest "The Sacred Helmet" to be quite straightforward & quick. At least I didn't have it that quick in my memory.
So, for a sheer hange of flavor, I think I cam reommend at least that one. Don't know about xp, though.

3 of the 4 quests in the STK arc are actually decent. The problem is Hobgoblin Hell in the middle. It's a level 4 quest that just goes on and on and on and on. It's almost completely linear, too, so it rapidly becomes a brainless slog. Did I mention that it goes on and on and on?
It's similar to Misery Peak in those respects, actually, which is why both quests are traditionally in the running for Top 5 Quests We Hates We Does.
Other contestants would be the Swim of Death (Necro 2, Shadow Guard), Rat Maze (Necro3, Tormented), Coal Chamber (Vale), Price of Freedom (White Plume #3), and the Threnal protection quest (Threnal West #2).

I am definitely out tonight; another 11 hours of watching movies on the clock it seems. Should be knocking on 60+ hours this week, but they decided too many drunks for Sat night, so I'll be on nights Sunday night, and then back to days Monday morning.

The worst quests in the game are those where everyone have to get past a tricky spot. Try the jump section in the Deathwyrm raid. I've never managed to get past it and only the soul stone taxi can get my toon to the end of the quest.
I agree with the Price of Freedom quest even though they changed it so you can teleport to the top if one character makes it up. Still, the end fight on epic reaper is horrible because you have to hit mobs fighting in the lava where the platforms keep disappearing so you keep dying. I don't think that end fight is part of the heroic version.

We stomped thru epic GH. All 10 quests on R1, even Crucible. Had a few deaths, but not bad overall. With the saga, I pulled down a level and a half. Not a bad night's work.

Sometimes, it isn't bad to see how armor pieces look like.
I've made this into a habit, before selling stuff, and so I just found out that one of my random loot (not named) light armor pieces from our Gianthold run actually looks like the armor on the far left of the 16th Anniversary screen : https://www.ddo.com/en/16thanniversary
Now I'm thinking about whether to glamer it, or to give it another toon (I have only 2 at level 25 yet).

Patch on Wednesday : https://www.ddo.com/en/update-531-release-notes
The coming weekend looks difficult for me.
On Saturday I might have an important appointment (not fixed yet).
Sunday is the very last day I could visit an archaeology exhibition, so I'd like to take that.
This means that the chances are very high that I might not be available this coming weekend.

Epics it is, then.
I propose an eChronoscope to start the night off.
After that, how about eWheloon? I know, I know, but when I ran it solo with Shadohe the other day I landed 170k XP off the last quest alone on EH. The purple haze has been toned down some as well, although there's obviously still a lot in that last quest. Most of the quests were surprisingly quick, too. Plus, that chain feeds into a few epic sagas.
If not, I probably vote for eDelera. Or I suppose we could shotgun stuff (Sentinels1, VoN3, LOD) for tokens, although that wouldn't be my top choice.

With the revamp they did to destinies and some other things, epic isn't quite the chicken-n-egg screw job it used to be (need an uber build and gear to run epic but need to run epic to get an uber build and gear). I still favor heroic like you, but epic just ain't as bad as it used to be.

I'm back from my appointment, and I'm glad that I didn't participate with the Friday run because otherwise I would have been overly tired. So, now, I had lots of time to get this done, because I was a actually able to get out of bed so much earlier.
Tomorrow I plan to go to that mentioned archaeology exhibition. I'm a bit angry over myself that I didn't visit that earlier, but I remember that a few weeks ago there were still construction sites on the railway to the town, Frankfurt. https://www.archaeologisches-museum-…n-silberhaende
What levels are/have you now ?
Is there anything else I should know ?

We ran epics as expected. Did eChrono and eDelera. Finished off the night with an epic Tower of Frost. Most of us gained a level during the night, but that group isn't completely in lock-step anymore. Corwin picked up lvl25 while CM picked up lvl28. The rest of us are in between.
For now, everyone is good for next week even though it's Good Friday. As long as that holds, we'll do Delirium and Tethymar.

I think it's time to retire from working on computers. I just killed my 'new' cheap one.
Might just be the RAM stick though, so I should be able to fix it cheaply, if I don't just build me a new system.
I still have the laptop, infected with the windows 10 virus as it is. So it won't affect gametime.

This looks to me as if Isle Of Dread will have a Destiny Tome : https://forums.ddo.com/forums/showth…=1#post6510896
I assume that this is from Lammannia right now.

When you go to lamannia you transfer a copy of one of your toons as is to that server. His may have had all those tomes. But they also give you a lot of stuff free from venders so you can max up your toon. I really love the new tool tip layout they will have for all that.
