Blood Chalices

I ran into Cruz while I was hunting the escaped slave, and he mentioned an injured sandcrawler. Apparently I already destroyed this beast, and due to my strategy of using my demon and rain of fire, I have no recollection at all where this corpse now rests.
Anyone know exactly where the injured sandcrawler might be?

It's called fire chalice - blood chalices are in Gothic 2, hehe.
It's hard to explain, as the desert looks alike all over the place, but I'll try:
Stand in the campfire in the paladins camp. Now turn to the normal chest(not the metal chest). Standing on the campfire, looking at the chest, go straight forward over one or two dunes(sand hills) - as soon as you see some old ruins, head towards them. The injured sandcrawler should be somewhere near those ruins.
