GameSpot - Richard Garriott Video Interview

In a GameSpot feature titled Behind the Games, the legendary Richard Garriott has been interviewed. I haven't had the time to watch it all but the series is intended to go "behind the games" and hopefully isn't all about his current MMO, Tabula Rasa.

Woah, he's been making games since the seventies and Myst (1993) was the first game not of his own making he finished - I sure didn't see that one coming.

It's a streaming video - I think your disabled Flash may be the culprit (?).

It ain't. It's the same ol' and tired "Yo, chummers, did you know that I was the one who actually invented video gaming all on my own" routine that we've heard about 3156416515631511 times since Mr. Parrot quit EA/Origin. Yawn.

However, I don't think that the site uses Flash. The GameSpot media player seems to be based on Windows Media Player and it is an ActiveX control/plugin as far as I can tell. So you only need to allow ActiveX (temporarily) if you want to watch it (in general lots more risky than re-enabling Flash BTW).
