bug with wolves outside cape dan?

i got a quest in cape dun where i got to kill all the wolves outside it. problem is that i killed all of them before even entering the village… so now if i go back i just see the corpses and nothing left to kill. is this a known bug or im missing something? thanks.

Ahh well go out of the village, imeadialty left around the fence when you see the guy looking for plants, take a right up the little hill.
