some good stuff on their hiddenx but vertigo…ahh…it killed what was the longest relationship i've had with a band. its not that the song is too horrible, but hearing it everywhere makes me want to construct an atomic bomb shelter and hide there
offspring can pull off spanish in their songs, but hearing bono speak spanish is riduculus.

For me "Vertigo" is a return to the good old - U2 guitar rock - from the '80s.
In the '90s the music of U2 was sometimes too artifcial for my ears.
some more:
Subway to Sally - Sag dem Teufel
Fischer Z - So Long
NEIL YOUNG & CRAZY HORSE - CORTEZ THE KILLER
Motörhead - Ace of Spades
Girlschool - Emergency
Jethro Tull - Boureé
The Hives - Die, Alright!
Rose Tattoo - Bad Boy For Love
The Detroit Cobras - Cha Cha Twist
Extrabreit - Flieger, Grüß mir die Sonne
ACDC - Hells Bells
Dead Kennedys - Holiday in Cambodia
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Jimi Hendrix - Star Sprangled Banner
Undertones - Teenage Kicks

hey dte you mentioned you liked all bedazzled but i haven't heard you mention mistle thrush before. their first release was on bedazzled and they too are a bostonian band as well. i justed checked up on their site and two of their albums are available free for download. some of the distortion effects don't live up to the cd quality but if you haven't heard them take advantage of some good free tunes. i always liked this song.

Live music by Bill Frisell - pulled from a radio broadcast, this is from the late 90's and is another recent digitization from tape. Pretty straight-ahead stuff from a guy who used electronic effects pretty heavily in creating layers of sound in his usual jazz guitar stuff.
Listening to "Unspeakable" right now which reminds me more of his older stuff than it does his newer stuff. It's one of my favorites by him. (A few other favorites being "Gone Like a Train", "Nashville" and "Lookout for Hope".) If you are looking for music that "has neither tonality or rhythm" then give Frisell's "Richter 858" a try. I've only made it through that CD a few times.

Finally i sit down and give this band a serious listen, and all I hear is Pantera Cloning 101. Prolly like them a whole lot more ten years ago!!

yeah i've come across their name many a time while looking for lamb info/albums over the years. the album names and song titles kind of always sent me a packing though. lou's voice though is heavenly and theres lots of songs about angels and such. their 2nd and 3rd album are my faves by far and heres a track from the prior.
