I'll hold out hope that they're testing the waters for Arx 2.
If I can find an English-language version, I'll definitly pick up a copy. I was planning on replaying it in the near future in any case, and if this means I can play it on my new system, so much the better.

I would be interested in the "An updated version of the game, compatible with the latest hardware configurations", part is that considered a patch and did bugs get fixed or codes activated so we can get unstuck, when the game gets wiggy?
That was my biggest complaint, Arkane Studios refused to allow us to access a console and codes for relief from bugs.

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language…they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

I loved arx. I'd very much like to play it again with or without updated graphics. But perhaps they have fixed/tweaked/updated one or two other things too?
I'm interested.

I just discovered that there is a new discussion forum available on Arkane website, maybe it is a place to ask (about limited Arx 1 and/or Arx 2).
