Signs of being even-heanded?

I am re-playing witcher again. Last time, in Chapter III, I have done Echoes of Yesterday side-quest which lead me to Gold Rush where I have helped Yaevinn escape from the bank. The outcome was that, of course, that Order and Sigfried hated me and nonhumans were friendly.
This time I played Six Feet Under side-quest which again lead to Gold Rush where I have again helped Yaevinn. The oucome? Sigfried hates me but Order blacksmith trades with me. Yaevinn likes me but dwarf blacksmith will not trade with me.
Isn't life complicated when you try to fair and even-handed?
