after 4 days of it actually not being released (ie page blank) looks like it is finally working. no way i'm paying $40 for any non boxed game though. i don't care how good a game is $25 is about the max i'd pay for a downloadable game.
here's the link if you're interested

Well, I loved the book. Strugacki brothers were (are?) very talented team of SF writters. But I need to know more about the game to dish out this sort of money…

Strugatsky. Only one of them is still alive (Boris), if I'm not mistaken. There is a news item on the demo (if you haven't checked it out yet), and there seems to be some interesting feedback there, hope that gives you more information on HtbaG.

In Germany the Game "Hard to be a God" is distributed by THQ and it´s available at the local dealer for a week now.
We´re running a fansite for it at www.hardtobeagod.de and there are many replies in our board area for the game - sadly many of them are a little bit angry. The story, quests and athmosphere are great, but obviously the game has many bugs, so half of our threads are dealing with tips, how to work around this bugs…

Curious…the game is advertised as RPG but all the official screenshots are of "hack and slash" variety!
