Sacred - Final v2.28 Patch Released

The last patch for Sacred is now available for English and several other languages. You can grab an overview and links for the 48Mb patch on this page and the v2.28 notes here.
Ascaron will now be concentrating entirely on Sacred 2.

After some research on the Sacred forums I found out that the Final 2.28 patch removes the CD check. 
Even Bioware did that with the 1.67 patch for NWN. So it must be a new trend among game developers who remove CD protection from the older game while a new game is in the works.
