Operation Flashpoint 2 - One of those game with legendary fame is coming in 2009!

Amazing new trailer - not sure it's in-game footage or the cinematic.

I finished Operation Flashpoint. It was an awesome experience. The game is one of the better first-person shooters I ever played due to it's open environment in which you could finish each mission YOUR way. It's because of games like Flashpoint I felt Half-Life 2 was a step down… I played it with a friend and we did so much fun stuff. When we played spec-ops we stole a small car and drove around on the countryside. When we saw enemies approaching we placed more explosives than neccessary on the road, blocked it off with the car and ran off the road hiding. Then when the enemy vehicles came nearby and stopped because of our blockade we blew up the explosives. Sometimes it took a couple of seconds for the debris to drop back on the ground.

Then we sneaked into the enemy bases and stole their tanks and burned down the whole base with their own tank. This was hillarious.
