To those of you who long for the days when MMOs were actually challenging. Those who played Everquest back in the early 2000s, and look with dismay how all MMOs since WoW came out are basically WoW re-skins, I have news for you 
Today starts a new server for Everquest, called Fippy Darkpaw (if you have a good memory, this was a rebel gnoll NPC that kept running to the guards at the Qeynos gates, screaming something about retaking his lands, and dying in 3 seconds... every 10 minutes or so). This servers starts as close as possible as Everquest launched originally (without many of the things in all the 17 expansions so far that have tried to "WoWize Everquest"). It launches today if you're curious.
For this, Sony has reactivated every account ever created for 15 days or so, so if you ever played Everquest, you can try it out today and for the next week (download the client for free at the site)
