Ubisoft announced that Anno 1800 will be released on February 26, 2019.

You know I loved the concept of first Anno but it was sooooo clunky in reality I just couldnt enjoy it. They better release a few more trailers better than this CGI of a ship/island flyover :) noticeably lacking gameplay.

Off topic, I just noticed a lack of posts by Fluent. Where/when he go?

I think he got disappointed with the community so he visits rpgwatch rarely, once per week. We just weren't enthustiastic about whatever thing he was trying to sell, can't remember what it was.

About the game, I'm gonna skippit. Series need refresh and not in a way to DRM games content to uPlay server that can easily go offline.

Thanks must have missed that.
Aside from socialism, I didn't know he was selling anything. I was just skimming over missed threads and realized I havent seen him or Celtic in some time.

He deleted almost every account online and set his Steam account to private. From what I could gather he wants to rebrand himself, and might have re-registered.

Who knows he might be Silver Coin in disguise.:D

Pretty much the same as always just set in a different time period. I just finished Anno 2077 & 2205, and they use the same formula just set in the future.

I liked the Annos, but just like RPGs I don't care much about futuristic settings, so this should be enjoyable for me hopefully.

I was a big fan all the way up till 2070 but 2205 was a dud. It's the same with the settlers franchise it got worse with every new game. Still it's Ubisoft so not surprised.
