Gothic - All Titles 75% Off on Steam

Has anyone went ahead and played Forsaken Gods? With the patch now, does it run okay? I remember trying it before and it just running horribly.

FG might well run better, but it certainly isn't silky smooth. I only got as far as heading out of the starting location in Silden and going a little over the plains towards the waterfalls. It was smooth enough but still a little hitchy on a 16GB/2600K/5850/X25 SSD machine...

But for $2.50, how wrong can you go :) ?

I do actually think that that is a publisher thing. The only games you can blame on steam should be all Valve games although even there could be publisher pressure since I do believe they are still sold in real world retail stores.

Well, at that price I grabbed them all on Steam. I have them all digitally on various things (GoG, D2D, etc), but none on Steam.

Nice to see people still buying the older Gothic titles.

Does Jowood get the royalties from sales of Gothic 1&2?

The Gothic bundle is No 2 on Steam… while the CODBLOPS dlc is No 4? Hard to believe :)
