Can't say that's unexpected (corona crap), but they should have informed the community earlier.
Also, september is IMO a bad choice, should have been a month or two later. Because everything not already release will appear in september.

2000 bugs!? OMG, what are they doing? A few years ago, the game only had one single bug (the "existence issue") and they managed to spawn two THOUSAND bugs from that ONE?? <smirking through a facepalm ;>

Maybe they are also fighting with feature creep. Fixing bugs while having great ideas for new stuff, creating new bugs along the way. Well, after postponing it for 10 years now, it must have quite a lot of features and smashed bugs.

I'm still excited for this. This, Xenonauts 2, and that Terran Shield game. OG Xcom is really its own thing and few new games come close to its scale and management. September? That's fine, right around the block really….

You might have noticed that the next release date passed and it hasn't been released yet.
Page still shows September 2020, but they just mentioned in Facebook that the game is still being tested and they didnt mention any new date.
