Grimoire Forever

There has been some recent posts elsewhere suggesting Cleve has passed away.

I did read some time ago the beta testers signed up to some sort of legal arrangement whereby they were not allowed to give the game to others. If Cleve is dead does this legal arrangement die with him?

May I know where is that 'elsewhere'?

Yes, he has personal contacts here on staff. They would have confirmed info first and post it for us. No one with the beta copy would release it under any circumstance.

Well, if it is reported 'elsewhere' it must be true......

Besides joke posts there were no reports in the Codex thread.
And the dude´s rather hilarious blog has the latest update dated yesterday.
Personally I expect Grimoire to be released this fall.

OS?

So when Cleve dies and someone else puts the game online for download, what OS will be best? Do I need to dig out my old W95 machine?

The simple answer is yes, or 98. Actually even XP will run the game. I'm sure Cleve is working hard to make it work in later OS, but just be prepared!! :)

I'm hoping that when Cleve dies someone else will keep the legend alive by taking over the project and then making an announcement every year or two that the game is almost done and just needs to iron out a few coding issues.

So, let me get this straight:

Cleve went bye bye => no more NDA agreement => people can share the windows beta and we can try it

Right? Right?
