RPG Site recommends the second chapter of Trails In The Sky if you like story heavy RPGs:

After covering Trails in the Sky First Chapter as his first video for the site, Darren MacPhail returns to finish the story with another review.

Originally released in Japan in 2006, Trails in the Sky Second Chapter was finally officially announced for localization back in 2013 by XSEED Games. Carpe Fulgur collaborated with the translation effort due to the game's exceptionally large script.

Finally, Second Chapter has released in English. It was a long time coming, but well worth the wait.

There will be light spoilers for First Chapter.

Cool - have heard good things, but haven't finished my replay of the original on the PS Vita, which I want to do before starting this one.
